Redesigned Softail® Frame

With the Sport Glide® being a member of the Softail family, you'll get all the perks of riding a Softail® bike. Softails are the most beloved line of motorcycles in the Harley-Davidson® lineup, primarily because of their unique, custom style and awesome performance. The Sport Glide® uses the distinctive Softail hidden monoshock rear suspension to give you cleaner lines and better handling. The Sport Glide® adds just a little bit more to this. The Sport Glide® chassis is 34% stiffer and significantly lighter than previous models. This means you'll get a more responsive bike that you can control even around the toughest corners and hardest passes. But it also uses high-performance suspension to allow you to carry extra cargo while touring without messing with the quality of your ride.

Milwaukee-Eight® Engine

And with a brand new bike comes a brand new engine. The Milwaukee-Eight® 107 engine takes the power and performance of a Harley-Davidson® engine to the next level. Over a century of engineering and riding experience has brought you an electronically fuel injected V-Twin engine that provides intense torque and responds faster from 0-60 mph and 60-80 mph. But the Milwaukee-Eight 107 is also perfectly counterbalanced to give you less bone-jarring vibration while still giving off the all too familiar growl. This engine is also sleeker to fit perfectly into the slimmer Sport Glide® model. It's the perfect new engine for the perfect new bike.

Touring Ready

With all that power and smoothness, the Sport Glide® is perfect for both commuting and touring. The light weight is perfect for casual commuting, but it also makes for a more agile bike when out touring the open freeways. The Sport Glide® also comes with a mini-fairing to keep the headwinds off your body, and the low-vibration engine makes for a smoother ride from start to finish. And with all that extra cargo, you'll need some extra space to put everything. You'll get hard-side locking saddlebags to hold all your luggage. For the days you need to lose a little extra weight, you can remove the saddlebags and the mini-fairing to just let you cruise. The Sport Glide® can switch from touring bike to commuting bike in a heartbeat. No matter what's on the agenda for the day, the Sport Glide® will make sure you get everywhere you need to be.
