Fresh for the fall, Harley-Davidson® Motor Company has released their all-new line of 2018 motorcycles. The bellwethers of these motorcycles is the line of eight redesigned and re-engineered Softail® cruisers, and they're in stock now.
The biggest advance in the new 2018 Softails® comes from a completely overhauled frame. The Softail® has always been known for its unique hidden rear shock design, and the engineers set about making the rest of the chassis stiffer and more resistant to torsion, while also being substantially lighter. Once they perfect that, the designers dropped in the Milwaukee-Eight engine. The result? Cruisers that are measurably faster, more agile, and all around more fun to ride. Deluxe
The Deluxe is what a cruiser is meant to be. It's centered on a powerful engine that roars like a lion down highway and broadway alike. Softail Slim®
The original bobbers were designed to be ridden hard by customizing speed demons who sacrificed trim and decoration for raw power. The Softail Slim® uses the Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine, meaning you'll get a full 111 ft-lbs of torque for lightning fast acceleration. It's minimalist design is reminiscent of the legendary bikes of the past.
Breakout® 114
Beating the competition in a drag race requires more power, traction, and stability. The Breakout® 114 offers all of this. The extended wheelbase keeps it stable at high speeds, the big 240mm tires grips the pavement, and the Milwaukee-Eight 114 engine brings extreme power. Fat Bob® 114
The Fat Bob® 114 is striking for a number of reasons. In the looks department, the designers went for fearless and bold, adding huge wheels, an upturned 2-1-2 exhaust system, and an asymmetrical fuel tank graphic. In the performance department, this bike is more nimble than ever thanks to tuned suspension and a 33 lb weight reduction.
Street Bob®
The Street Bob® is a rider's bike. It's fully loaded with performance features including tuned in suspension and a torque-heavy Milwaukee-Eight 107 engine. The engine also offers diminished vibration thanks to counterbalancing, and it has minimal mechanical noise so you get a more pure exhaust sound. With vintage looks, this bike draws stares wherever it goes.
Low Rider®
The Low Rider® is one of the most memorable bikes to make the transition to the Softail® chassis from the Dyna.
